SCOTT B. HENDERSON (he/him) is a freelance illustrator, whose reputation of cultural sensitivity and an openness to listen and learn has garnered a large body of work in collaboration with Indigenous, and LGBTQIA+ communities. A graduate of the University of Manitoba’s School of Fine Art, Scott has worked on dozens of graphic novels and other illustrated works, including colouring and lettering, storyboards and conceptual art, mentoring emerging comic artists, and graphic novel workshops. His work spans several critically acclaimed graphic novels, including The Reckoner Rises (Indigenous superheroes), A Girl Called Echo (Métis history), A Blanket of Butterflies (2016 Eisner Nomination), a short story in Marvel Voices: Pride #1 (2022), and a post-apocalypse graphic novel, Last Breeds (2025). Scott is a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and resides in Winnipeg, MB with his partner.
