Jonathan welcomes “Fearless” Fred Kennedy to talk about his Image comic Dead Romans and how he dug out of his pandemic-induced creative funk.
Fred Kennedy isn’t as exciting as one may think. He has cats, a garden, a wife, some kids, and does most of his writing while taking the train to and from work. The first comic he remembers buying was an Archie Comic with Archie posing as Conan on the cover. Sadly there was no Barbaric story inside and the entire experience was a colossal disappointment. He works as a radio announcer during the day, hosting afternoons on Q107 in Toronto, while also being syndicated in London at FM96, and Winnipeg on Power 97. Yay! Radio! It’s free and in STEREO!
Outside of writing comics he has been grinding away on his fan made radio play Mud79…which is essentially Platoon meet Star Wars.
