Aaron Giovannone, Ph.D., is a writer, professor, and podcaster living in Calgary, Alberta, on Treaty 7 territory. He has published two books of poetry: The Nonnets and The Loneliness Machine, and his essays about arts and culture have appeared in The Walrus, Salon, Maclean’s, Jacobin, Literary Review of Canada, among other venues. Aaron teaches writing at Mount Royal University, and he is the producer and co-host of Sweater Weather, a podcast about Canadian arts and culture: www.sweaterweatherpod.com
